If your calendar events are not appearing in your Indify widget, follow these troubleshooting steps:
1. Refresh the Widget
Sometimes events may not load due to a temporary sync issue. Try refreshing the widget on the page where it’s embedded, to ensure that the most recent events are pulled into the widget.
2. Re-authenticate Your Account
If refreshing doesn't resolve the issue, you may need to re-authenticate your calendar connection:
- Go to your Indify widget’s configuration page
- Reconnect by clicking "Sign In with Google / Outlook" and following the authentication prompts
- Grant all necessary permissions when prompted
3. Check Event Date Range Settings
If your events fall outside the default sync range, they won't appear in your widget. You may need to adjust the sync settings:
- Open your widget configuration page on Indify
- Look for the "Sync past events" and "Sync future events" settings
- Verify that your events fall within the configured date range
- If you need to extend the range beyond the default limits, please note that you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan.
4. Check Calendar Permissions
Ensure that Indify has the proper permissions to access your calendar:
- Google Calendar: Visit your Google Account permissions page and verify that Indify has access to your calendar data
- Outlook Calendar: Check your Microsoft account app permissions to confirm Indify can read your calendar
5. Verify Calendar Selection
Make sure you've selected the correct calendar(s) in your widget settings:
- Open the widget configuration
- Check that the right calendars are enabled
- Ensure events from the selected calendars are visible in your native calendar app
6. Clear Cache and Cookies
Browser cache issues can sometimes prevent proper syncing:
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies
- Log out of Indify and log back in
- Reload the page with your calendar widget
