Quick Troubleshooting Steps
- Upload Issues: Ensure images have been uploaded successfully to Indify.
- File Size: Check that your image isn't too large. Try compressing or resizing if needed.
- Incompatible Formats: Use standard web formats (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF). Avoid extremely large TIFFs or proprietary formats.
- Browser Cache: Clear your browser cache and refresh the page to see if images load.
Cropping Issues
If your images appear cropped or don't display as expected, this is likely related to the Image sizing setting in your Gallery Widget configuration.
- Contain (default): Images may shrink to fit within the frame while maintaining their aspect ratio. Choose this if you want to see the entire image without any cropping.
- Cover: Images may expand to fill the entire frame, which can result in cropping at the edges. Use this for a uniform gallery appearance, but be aware some parts of your images may be cut off.
- Wrap Around Image Size: The frame conforms to each image's natural dimensions, preventing any cropping. This option displays images at their original size.
To adjust how your images display, go to your widget's configuration page and select the appropriate Image sizing option that best fits your needs.
