Indify Branding & Media Kit Guidelines
This page explains exactly what you can (and can’t) do with Indify branding, how to request approval when needed, and how we’ll handle your request.

What Happens Next? Do I need additional approval?
No approval needed if you’re using the media kit for:
- Tutorials, how-to guides, and documentation
- Reviews and “recommended tools” posts
- Videos showing Indify setup and usage
- Social posts referencing Indify
- Slide decks for education/workshops (non-commercial sponsorship claims)
As long as:
- You follow all notice + logo rules below, and
- You don’t claim partnership, endorsement, or official status.
Approval is required if your use includes:
- Paid promotions (ads, sponsored posts, influencer deals, affiliate creatives)
- App store/marketplace listings (Notion marketplace pages, Chrome store listings, etc.)
- Your product UI (onboarding, navigation, login buttons, “powered by” badges, templates)
- Press releases and announcements naming Indify as a partner/customer/sponsor
- Print (stickers, apparel, packaging) or event signage (booths, banners)
- Any co-branded lockup (logo + your logo in one graphic)
Quick Rules Checklist
Before you publish anything with Indify branding, make sure:
- You’re using the latest assets from the Indify media kit
- You did not modify the logo (color, shape, effects, proportions)
- Your content does not imply endorsement unless approved in writing
- Any product screenshots are accurate and not misleading
- Indify branding is used as a reference (“Works with Indify”), not as your identity
If you can’t confidently check all of these, request approval or send us your draft.
Logo Usage Rules
You must:
- Use the official SVG/PNG from the media kit
- Keep the logo proportional (scale uniformly)
- Use only approved color variants:
- Full color (preferred)
- Black
- White (for dark backgrounds)
You must not:
- Stretch, skew, rotate, or redraw the logo
- Recolor the logo outside the official variants
- Add shadows, outlines, gradients, glows, bevels, or blur
- Place the logo inside a shape or “badge” unless provided by Indify
- Combine Indify branding with your own into a single mark
- Use Indify’s logo as your app icon, favicon, or social profile picture
Clear Space and Minimum Size
Clear space
Keep a “breathing zone” around the logo:
- Leave at least one “I” height of empty space around the Indify wordmark (or equivalent spacing rule for the icon).
Minimum size (digital)
- Wordmark: minimum 24px height
- Icon: minimum 16px height
If the logo needs to be smaller than this, skip the logo and use plain text (“Indify”).
Backgrounds and Contrast
- Use the full-color mark on light, clean backgrounds
- Use the white mark on dark backgrounds with strong contrast
- Avoid busy textures/photography behind the logo
- If you must place it on an image, add padding and ensure legibility
Copy and Naming Rules
Use the correct capitalization:
- ✅ Indify
- ❌ indify / INDIFY (unless your design system forces all-caps for headings)
Recommended phrasing
- “Works with Indify”
- “Compatible with Indify”
- “Built using Indify widgets”
- “Indify calendar widget setup”
Avoid these unless approved
- “Official”
- “Certified”
- “Partner”
- “Endorsed by Indify”
- “Powered by Indify” (this can be allowed, but we often require a specific layout)
Co-Branding Rules (Two Logos Together)
If your brand and Indify appear together:
- Use two separate logos (never merged)
- Keep them visually balanced (similar weight/size)
- Use spacing or a simple divider (line) between them
- Don’t place Indify in a way that looks like a parent brand of yours
If you need a combined lockup, request it and we’ll provide one after approval.
Screenshots, UI Mockups, and Product Visuals
Allowed
- Cropping for layout (as long as it’s not misleading)
- Blurring personal/private data
- Annotating with arrows/callouts for tutorials
Not allowed
- Editing UI to suggest features that don’t exist
- Fabricating metrics, dashboards, or “new UI” claims
- Using screenshots that expose private customer information
Video, Streaming, and Social Graphics
You can show Indify in:
- Screen recordings (setup, tutorials)
- Live streams (walkthroughs)
- Overlays/graphics (as long as the logo isn’t altered)
Recommended disclosure (when applicable)
If it’s sponsored or paid:
- “Sponsored by {{sponsor_name}}”
- “This video contains paid promotion”
And do not imply Indify is the sponsor unless that’s true and approved.
Domain Names, Handles, and “Official-Looking” Branding
Not allowed without approval:
- Domains or handles that could be confused as official Indify properties
Examples: indifywidgets-setup.com, @IndifySupportPlus
Allowed:
- Independent guides that don’t impersonate Indify
Examples: notion-widget-guide.com, @RobertBuildsWorkflows
Prohibited Uses (Always Disallowed)
Indify assets may not be used in connection with:
- Illegal, deceptive, or exploitative content
- Scams, phishing pages, or “lookalike” download sites
- Hate, harassment, or sexual content
- Anything implying Indify endorses a political cause or candidate
- Any content that misrepresents Indify’s product capabilities
Permission, Ownership, and Removal
Indify brand assets are provided under a limited, non-exclusive, revocable permission to reference Indify.
We may request changes or removal if:
- The usage violates these guidelines
- It creates brand confusion
- It implies endorsement without approval
- It misleads users about features, pricing, or association

FAQ
Q: Can I recolor the Indify logo to match my theme?
No. Use the approved full-color, black, or white variants only.
Q: Can I put the Indify logo on my homepage hero section?
Yes, if it’s clear you’re referencing Indify (not claiming partnership). If it looks like a partnership badge, request approval.
Q: Can I say “Official Indify Integration”?
Only with written approval from Indify.
Q: Can I use the Indify icon as a button in my product UI?
That requires approval. We may ask you to use text-only or a specific “Connect Indify” style.
Q: Can I use Indify screenshots in my course?
Yes, as long as they’re accurate, not misleading, and don’t expose private info.
Q: Can Indify share my post/video?
Sometimes! If you want that, note it in the form or reply to the thread with your final link.
