✨ Setting Up Digital Signage on any TV in 6 Quick Steps
Step 1: Obtain your Canva Smart Embed Link
Step 2: Ensure your TV is connected to the internet
✅ If you have a Smart TV, it should already be connected to the internet. This has been confirmed to work on Samsung TVs, but not Roku TVs (since they don’t have a browser).
📺 If you have a Standard TV, we recommend purchasing any of the following TV sticks, ranked in the order of speed (highest to lowest):
- ✅ ONN Android TV ($30 on Amazon) + BrowseHere
- ✅ FireTV Stick ($19 on Amazon) + Silk Internet Browser
- ✅ TiVo Stream 4k ($40 on Amazon) + BrowseHere
- ✅ Xiaomi Mi TV Stick ($57 on Amazon) + BrowseHere
- ✅ BL Android TV Stick 4K ($29 on Amazon) + Vewd Web Browser
Step 3: Go into your TV’s settings, and make sure to disable screensavers.
💡 This will ensure your TV will not go to sleep while you showcase your digital signage.
Step 4: Load up the internet browser on the TV
💡 Important: make sure the browser is up-to-date, otherwise the presentation might not load properly. This method has been tested to work as of April 19, 2025.
Step 5: In the browser, type in the URL for your presentation from step 1, and simply click “full screen” on the bottom right.
Note: we recommend shortening the link using a platform like tinyurl.com to make it easier to type with a TV remote.
Your digital signage is now ready ✨
✨ Any updates you make to your slides or widgets will automatically be reflected on the screen.
