Framer x Indify | FAQ
Q: Can I use Indify widgets inside a Framer site?
Yes. Framer supports embedding external sites and widgets through its Embed component and iframe-based plugins. Indify widgets are just secure web URLs, so you can drop them into Framer via an embed.
Q: The widget is not showing or has a browser error in Framer. What can I do?
Here are a few suggestions:
- Confirm the URL is correct and starts with https://.
- Preview the URL in a normal browser tab; if it doesn’t load there, fix that first.
- Some sites can be blocked in iframes by headers like
X-Frame-Optionsor Content Security Policy. Framer’s docs mention that some URLs simply can’t be embedded; if you see those messages for other services, the same rules apply. If an Indify widget still won’t render, contact Indify support with the widget link.
Q: Will Indify widgets slow down my Framer site?
Any embed adds another external request. A few widgets are usually fine, but filling a page with many heavy widgets (e.g., large calendars or dashboards) can impact load time. Framer itself recommends being mindful of the number of embedded iframes on a page.
Q: Are Indify widgets responsive in Framer?
Most Indify widgets are designed to be responsive, and Framer lets you control the size and constraints of the Embed frame. For the best result, set the embed frame to use flexible width (or pin it to both sides) and test on desktop and mobile breakpoints.
Q: Can I control widget colors and fonts to match my brand?
Yes. Customize the widget’s theme, colors, and sometimes fonts within Indify first. Once you save, your Framer embed will update automatically using the same URL.
