The Counter widget helps you keep track of anything that matters using a clean, tappable number counter within your workspace. It’s perfect for tracking streaks, habits, ticket volume, shipments, donations, or any metric you want front and center. Add a title so you’ll always know what you’re counting, and choose whether you prefer plus/minus symbols or arrows on your buttons. With options to customize appearance, increment style, and display format, you can set up a counter that keeps you motivated and aligned with your goals.
How to Set Up the Counter Widget
Step 1: Create the Widget
- Go to Indify.co and sign in.
- Select Create New Widget.
- Choose Counter from the widget library.
⚙️ Configure What Matters
Counter title
The title for your counter, which will appear above the counter.
Preferred icons
Set the icons used to increment and decrement your counter. Choose between “Plus and minus” or “Arrows”.
Hide reset button
You can reset the counter widget to restart your count by clicking on the Reset button.
Step 2: Customize the design
- Adjust the counter size (Small, Medium, Large, or X-Large) to fit your layout.
- Toggle center text to horizontally align the counter and controls.
- Customize the counter title to label what you're tracking.
- Choose your preferred icons (plus/minus or arrows) for incrementing.
- Show or hide the reset button based on your needs.

Counter size
Select your counter size:
- Small – Compact, ideal for sidebars
- Medium – Default balanced size
- Large – Prominent, great for headers
- X-Large – Maximum visibility for presentations
Center text
When enabled, centers the counter text and buttons horizontally within the widget.
Text shadows
Display shadows behind text to increase contrast between the text and the background.
Color Settings
Update text colors & background colors to keep your aesthetics consistent in different environments.
Light and Dark Mode
Sync your widget’s appearance seamlessly with your platform’s environment, by selecting light mode, dark mode, use system setting, or do nothing.
Step 3: Paste Your Embed
- Copy the widget’s embed link from Indify.
- Open your Notion workspace.
- Type “/embed” and paste the link into your desired page.
- Resize and position the widget as needed.

You can decrement via the minus (— / ↓) control.
Q: Can I track multiple counters in one block?
Create one Counter per metric (e.g., "Calls," "Emails," "Demos"), then arrange them side-by-side on your page to track multiple counters in one view.
Q: Do I need to re-embed after edits?
No, just edit in Indify and refresh your page. The latest widget data will load automatically.
Q: Can I track the increment history or export counter data?
Currently, the Counter widget displays your current count in real-time without maintaining a historical log or export functionality. We're evaluating these features for future updates based on community feedback.
